Celebrate new life

In-home Newborn Photography.

We all understand how precious those first moments of a baby’s life are. Time passes so quickly—it feels like a blink, and everything changes.

That’s why these photographs matter so much. They aren’t just pictures. They become treasured memories for your family, and a beautiful way to celebrate the new life that has entered your world.

Your newborn photography experience with me is designed to be easy, relaxed, and enjoyable.

My aim is to create a warm, calm space where both you and your baby can feel completely at ease. I take a gentle, patient approach, allowing your little one all the time they need to settle naturally into each pose—nothing rushed, nothing forced.

With a careful eye for detail and a deep passion for capturing your baby’s unique beauty, I’ll work with you to create a personal, meaningful session. One that reflects your family’s style, values, and most importantly—your connection.

FAQs about newborn photography sessions

When should I schedule my newborn photography session?

It’s best to schedule your session before your baby is born, ideally during your second trimester, to ensure availability. Once your baby arrives, the session is typically held within the first 5-21 days to capture those sleepy, curled-up poses. However, all newborn babies are welcome to my sessions.

Yes, I understand that due dates are unpredictable and usually I will pencil in your due date and adjust the session accordingly once your baby is born.

Absolutely! Including family members can make the session more special and capture the family bond. We will discuss this aspect closer to the date prior to the newborn photography day.

Sessions typically last between 2 to 3 hours. This allows time for feeding, changing, and comforting your baby to ensure they are content and relaxed during the shoot.

Choose a room with ample natural light, declutter the space, and ensure it’s warm to keep your baby comfortable. I will provide specific guidance based on your layout and light of the room.

Many photographers prefer to photograph newborns in simple swaddles or without clothing to highlight their natural features. I’m more than happy to discuss wardrobe options prior the newborn session to align any of your requirements. Normally, I provide props and some wardrobe options with my photo shoot.

It’s completely normal for newborns to need feeding or comforting during the session. Within my photo session, I take into account this this aspect and I will take breaks as needed to ensure your baby is happy and comfortable.
