I’m Diana, a newborn photographer based in Gosport, just 10 minutes away from the market town, Fareham which is between the cities of Portsmouth and Southampton in south east Hampshire, England. There is something truly special about capturing those first few days at home. As a professional photographer serving, I love the intimacy of bringing the studio to you. It was a joy to be invited into Natalie’s home recently to document their growing family in such a personal, relaxed environment.
Today I will share my experience with this beautiful family which gave me the honour to capture their family moments within their Fareham home. A deligthful newborn photography experience
This newborn photoshoot in Fareham was truly enchanting. Natalie reached out to me on Facebook to arrange a photoshoot for her new family, and right from the start, I sensed this session would be something extraordinary. The moment I stepped into their welcoming home, I felt at ease. Natalie’s radiant smile and their curious little ones added to the warm atmosphere.
The session took place entirely in the baby’s nursery. By utilizing the natural light flooding through the windows, we were able to create a soft, airy feel that mirrored the quiet, peaceful energy of a new arrival. We didn’t rush; we moved at the baby’s pace, allowing time for cuddles and changes, which is always the secret to those genuine, sleepy portraits.
Their baby boy was dressed in a delightful variety of outfits. This session yielded some of my all-time favourite images. I’m particularly fond of the tender black and white breastfeeding shot and the intimate family moments where they cuddled closely.
Throughout this newborn photo session, I utilized a wide aperture, allowing me to craft exquisite images and capture intricate details of the adorable baby boy. Always, in my newly born child photo shoots, I’m looking to have fun and most important the parents to feel comfortable and to enjoy it too.

Maybe is something which is obvious, but I like to say it anyway. On the day of our session, I will take a variety of photographs. If you’ve got something specific in mind, please do let me know! Normally, on the day of our photography session, we will spend anywhere between one to two hours together.
Relax and enjoy it as I will guide you through the session to help you feel confident, most of my images with small children are based on gentile backgrounds and environments to keep everyone relaxed and capture natural expressions. Is highly recommended, especially if are below 2 years old, to be well rested and fed.

Your Fareham newborn photography images
After our session, the magic continues in the editing room. Your gallery will be ready to view in a private online space within a week. I believe in transparency and value, which is why my packages are comprehensive, allowing you to choose the collection that best fits your family’s needs without any hidden surprises.
You will receive the mentioned number of edited digital files included in the most basic package, as per product page. The remaining images in your gallery can be purchased as digital files, using an upgrade fee. Your gallery will be live for 7-10 days for you to make your selections.
